Having known Sachin since 2015, it was evident that his creativity, attention to detail and timely execution of work showed in the projects he had undertaken. Further, what struck me most as I got to know him was his genuine passion for design, his candid straight talk and his absolute honesty. It was in 2021, where I got the chance to work directly with him and the Nuak Studios team on upgrading the rooms and spaces at The Villa by Contemporary Ceylon, a seven-bedroom beach front boutique Villa, in Sri Lanka.
They quickly presented us with 3D rendered imagery of how the rooms and spaces would look like, which helped us get a clear understanding of the final design proposal. Seeing these images got us excited and reconfirmed the need on going ahead with the upgrades for the Villa.
Since getting the ‘go ahead’, the team worked tirelessly, following up with many suppliers and personally sourcing the multiple ornaments and accessories and ensuring the final installation. The final look and feel was exactly what was proposed and shown to us in the 3D rendered images, which reinforced the trust we had kept on them.
The team executed the project successfully within the restricted timeline, which was the key as we couldn’t keep the Villa closed for long, given the nature of our business.

The breathtaking interior at my house today is a result of the Nuak Studios team’s commitment and dedication over several months. From the inception, Sachintya, Sumudu and the team took effort to understand the needs and behavior patterns of my family.
